Hosting a Referee Clinic

 All MSA affiliated members are eligible to host an Entry Level Referee Clinic or Refresher Clinic to be conducted by an MSA instructor.  If you are interested in hosting a clinic, please download the appropriate application form below and submit it to the MSA between November 1 and January 31 of the current year.  Clinic requests must be submitted in this time frame to ensure efficient administration and coordination of the clinics.

Attending a Referee Clinic

All new referees must fully attend an Entry Level Clinic.

• Youth referees (12-15 years of age) may register by contacting the District organizer for the clinic in their area. 
• Adult Referees (16 years of age or older) may attend the Entry Level District Referee Clinic. 

To register for a Senior District Referee Clinic please download the application form below and send it to the MSA office with a cheque for $40 payable to “Manitoba Soccer Association”, or pay in person at the office. To register for an Entry Level Youth Referee Clinic or Entry Level District Youth Clinic please see the contact information below.

It is possible to attend any missed session at another location with permission of the District organizer.

Referee Clinic Dates

Entry Level Youth Referee Clinics

Entry Level Youth Referee Clinic for individuals12-14 years of age.
Eligible to referee youth 9 versus 9 soccer.

Duration:  8 hours divided up into 4 modules

Cost $450 per district/region wishing to host the clinic
Cost $30 per participant if hosted by the MSA

Entry Level District Youth Referee Clinics

Entry Level District Youth Referee Clinic for individuals 15 years of age or older.
Eligible to officiate youth and senior soccer.  Duration:  12 hours divided into 4 modules

Cost $30 per participant.

Entry Level District Senior Referee Clinic

Entry Level District Senior Referee Clinic for individuals 18 years of age or older.
Eligible to officiate youth and senior soccer.

Duration:  16 hours- 4 modules of 3 hours, the Assistant Referee Course (3 hrs) and a fitness test

Cost $40 per participant
