Renee Therrien was scouted in January 2009 in Nebraska at a college search tournament to play soccer for an american university.
In February 2010 she signed on for a 5 year scholarship to play soccer at Green Bay Wisconsin University.
She will be studying for a chemistry degree and continue her education in Winnnipeg in Pharmacy.
